Job Description

Senior Product Analyst

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Product Analyst in India.

In this role, you will act as a key strategic partner to Product, Engineering, and Design teams, shaping product direction through deep analytical thinking, experimentation, and strong product intuition. You will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that influence roadmap decisions, improve user experiences, and drive measurable business impact. The position requires ownership of product metrics, instrumentation design, and experimentation frameworks within a high-growth, data-driven environment. You will also play a critical role in defining how product success is measured, ensuring strong observability and data integrity across systems. This is a highly autonomous role where you will lead analytical strategy for your product domain while mentoring others and elevating analytical standards. It is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, product thinking, and strategic decision-making in fast-moving digital businesses.

Accountabilities:
  • Partner with Product Managers to influence roadmap priorities through structured problem framing, opportunity sizing, and data-driven insights that guide strategic decisions.
  • Lead end-to-end analytical discovery by defining key questions, developing hypotheses, performing root-cause analysis, and identifying behavioral trends and second-order effects.
  • Develop narrative-driven analysis that translates complex datasets into clear product insights, going beyond dashboards to influence decision-making.
  • Own and evolve product metric frameworks, including north-star metrics, input metrics, diagnostic metrics, and counter-metrics to ensure accurate product measurement.
  • Design tracking plans and instrumentation schemas in collaboration with engineering teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and accurate data capture.
  • Lead experimentation efforts including A/B tests, multivariate tests, and rollout analysis, ensuring robust statistical design and interpretation of results.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting systems to detect anomalies, funnel breaks, and behavioral shifts in real time.
  • Collaborate closely with analytics engineering to maintain high-quality data pipelines, models, and analytical assets.
  • Provide analytical leadership, mentor junior analysts, and promote best practices in experimentation, measurement, and storytelling across teams.
Requirements:
  • 4–6 years of experience in product analytics, data science, growth analytics, or similar roles within product-driven organizations.
  • Proven ability to influence product strategy and roadmap decisions through data-driven insights and analytical storytelling.
  • Strong experience in experimentation frameworks, including A/B testing, statistical modeling, and causal inference techniques.
  • Expert-level SQL skills with experience using cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or equivalent platforms.
  • Familiarity with event-based tracking, telemetry systems, and product instrumentation design.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Metabase, or similar BI platforms.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex and ambiguous data into structured insights and recommendations.
  • Deep product intuition with the ability to identify user behavior patterns, friction points, and growth opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently in high-velocity environments while managing multiple priorities and driving analytical strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package
  • Remote-first and globally distributed work environment
  • Opportunity to work on high-impact, large-scale product and data challenges
  • Strong focus on experimentation, learning, and professional growth
  • Inclusive and diverse workplace culture
  • Exposure to advanced analytics, experimentation, and product-led growth frameworks
  • Collaborative environment with strong cross-functional partnerships
  • Opportunity to contribute to mission-driven financial inclusion initiatives
