Regional Sales Manager (Com. & Res. Gates)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional Sales Manager (Commercial & Residential Gates) based in the United States.

This role is a high-impact, territory-focused sales position responsible for driving growth across a multi-state region within the gate and door automation industry. You will be accountable for building strong channel relationships with distributors, dealers, and installation partners while expanding market share across both commercial and residential segments. The position combines strategic planning with hands-on field execution, including customer engagement, technical presentations, and trade show representation. You will act as the key regional representative, influencing sales strategy, product positioning, and partner performance. Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, technical understanding of access control solutions, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, travel-heavy environment. You will play a critical role in strengthening brand presence across the territory while driving consistent revenue growth. The environment is dynamic, collaborative, and highly performance-oriented.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with corporate revenue and growth objectives
  • Build, maintain, and expand relationships with distributors, dealers, and channel partners across the assigned territory
  • Drive sales forecasting, pipeline management, and achievement of regional quotas and KPIs
  • Conduct market analysis to identify customer needs, competitor activity, and growth opportunities
  • Deliver product presentations, technical training, and sales enablement sessions to partners and clients
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings to promote solutions
  • Manage independent rep organizations and ensure alignment with regional performance goals
  • Prepare regular sales reports, including forecasting, pipeline updates, and market insights
  • Monitor channel performance, expenditures, and compliance with budget requirements
  • Provide feedback on product improvements, market trends, and competitive positioning
Requirements:
  • 5–7+ years of experience in channel sales, territory management, or sales leadership within gate automation, door operators, or related industries
  • Strong experience working with distributors, dealer networks, or independent rep organizations
  • Knowledge of access control systems or related technical products preferred
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies that deliver measurable growth
  • Strong proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze sales data, calculate margins, commissions, and performance metrics
  • Highly organized with strong time management and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 70%
  • Self-starter mindset with strong adaptability in fast-moving environments
Benefits:
