Schedule: Approximately 4-5 hours (one-day assignment; additional opportunities may be available)

Skilltrade is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Exam Proctor to support in-person certification testing for Medical Assistant students. This role ensures a secure, compliant, and professional testing environment in accordance with National Healthcareer Association (NHA) guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and proctor certification exams in accordance with NHA testing standards

Verify candidate identification and ensure proper check-in procedures

Maintain a secure and distraction-free testing environment

Monitor students throughout the exam to prevent misconduct or irregularities

Provide clear instructions before and during the exam

Report any incidents, irregularities, or technical issues

Ensure all testing materials and procedures are handled in compliance with guidelines

NHA Proctoring Guidelines (Key Requirements):

Maintain continuous visual supervision of all test takers

Ensure no unauthorized materials or devices are used during testing

Verify candidate identity prior to exam start

Do not assist with exam content or interpretation of questions

Immediately report any suspicious behavior or violations

Ensure testing environment remains quiet, secure, and interruption-free

Follow all exam start/stop times and procedures exactly as outlined

Strong attention to detail and professionalism

Ability to follow strict procedures and maintain confidentiality

Reliable and punctual

Comfortable managing small groups in a testing environment

Prior proctoring or administrative experience preferred but not required
