This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior HR Generalist based in the United States.
This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality HR support across the full employee lifecycle within a dynamic, service-oriented organization. You will act as a trusted HR partner supporting employees and managers through onboarding, offboarding, payroll, employee relations, and policy administration. The position requires a strong balance of operational execution and advisory capability, ensuring HR processes run smoothly while continuously improving efficiency and employee experience. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to maintain compliance, resolve issues, and support organizational initiatives that shape workplace culture. The environment is fast-paced and people-focused, with an emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, and responsiveness. This is a hands-on HR role with both tactical responsibilities and meaningful influence on employee experience.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, internal mobility, and employee data updates.
- Coordinate job changes, role transitions, and organizational movements from initiation through completion.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of employee records across HR systems.
- Prepare, audit, and process biweekly US payroll, including wages, deductions, taxes, and adjustments.
- Administer payroll tax compliance activities across multiple states, including filings, updates, and remittances.
- Manage leave of absence programs such as FMLA, ADA, and other statutory or company leave policies.
- Provide employee relations support, including policy guidance, conflict resolution, and performance-related matters.
- Handle HR inquiries via shared inboxes and ensure timely resolution of employee and manager requests.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and internal audit requirements (including I-9/E-Verify).
- Support offboarding processes, including exit management and unemployment claims coordination.
- Contribute to HR reporting, audits, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in HR projects and support additional HR operational needs as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
- 3–5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience across multiple HR functions.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes including payroll, employee relations, compliance, and lifecycle management.
- Experience supporting internal recruiting or mobility programs is an advantage.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms; UKG experience is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word; PowerPoint and OneNote a plus).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all organizational levels.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in day-to-day HR decision-making.
