Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for inspecting incoming, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with customer, engineering, and quality requirements. Supports production by identifying nonconforming material and verifying product quality through the use of inspection equipment and documented procedures.

- Perform receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections on manufactured products
- Verify product conformity to engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements.
- Perform and document dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment.
- Conduct AQL sampling inspections as required.
- Identify, segregate, and document nonconforming material.
- Verify completion and accuracy of production travelers and manufacturing records.
- Support containment activities, sorting, and re-inspection of suspect product when required.
Perform in-house calibration of measuring and test equipment in accordance with company procedures.
Essential Tasks:
• Perform receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections on manufactured products.
• Verify product conformity to engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Conduct AQL sampling inspections as required.
• Identify, segregate, and document nonconforming material.
• Verify completion and accuracy of production travelers and manufacturing records.
• Follow ISO 9001, customer, and company quality requirements.
• Support internal audits, customer audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in root cause investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
• Apply calibration labels and maintain calibration databases and records.
• Prepare customer-required First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and supporting documentation.Requirements and Experience:
Required
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gages, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Experience performing First Article Inspections.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Preferred
- Experience operating manual CMM equipment.
- Experience performing calibration activities.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems.
- Manufacturing inspection experience in a machine shop environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to use inspection equipment requiring fine hand dexterity.
- Ability to distinguish small details and markings.
Pay: $21-$28 per hour
