Residential Lead Direct Support Professional- Grand Island in Grand Island, Nebraska at Hands Of Heartland

Hands of Heartland is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to join our team and provide support to the individuals we support as a Residential Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP)/Caregiver in Grand Island, NE.

What You’ll Do: Work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities in a variety of settings to ensure they have a meaningful life. You will support DSPs along with working side by side with them as they assist individuals with day to day living activities and developing skills in their home and in community settings. Organizational skills and professionalism is a must as you will assist with scheduling and other various lead duties.

Hours: Evenings from 3p-11p with every other weekend required.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass all required background checks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Experience working in the disability field is preferred for this position although not required- we provide training!

Pay: Pay range is $17-$19 per hour based on experience. We pay more for experience and if you have a CNA license. Incentives also available.
