Job Description:

Maintains floors of facility to ensure a clean and well-maintained environment. Under general direction, maintains all facility floors and hard surfaces to ensure a clean and well-maintained environment. Performs preventative maintenance on special floor equipment.

Required Skills:

1. Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.


2. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Must be able to work nights weekends and holidays as needed.


3. Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling of work.


4. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain a positive attitude.


5. Ability to determine appropriate course of action in more complex situations.


6. Ability to handle difficult situations involving patients, physicians, or others in a professional manner.

11. Knowledge of environmental services processes and procedures.

Required Experience:

Work Experience:

One year of work related experience utilizing various floor equipment (i.e. burnishers, auto scrubbers, side by side buffers, steamers).

License/Registration/Certification:

None

Education and Training:

High School diploma or equivalent education preferred.
