Overview
The Aftercare Manager supports the successful operation of the Franklin Academy Aftercare Program. This full-time, 12-month position is responsible for maintaining a safe, orderly, and engaging environment for students during after-school hours, including supervision in the cafeteria, playground, and other designated areas. The role ensures compliance with school policies, procedures, and all applicable regulations while leading staff and supporting students.
Employment Schedule: 12-month, full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily aftercare operations, including student supervision and staff management
- Manage student registration, attendance, and dismissal using PROCARE
- Communicate with parents regarding policies, events, and student matters
- Address incidents, maintain records, and conduct parent conferences
- Plan activities, camps, and special program days
- Ensure staff compliance with background checks and licensing requirements
- Monitor budget, expenses, and payment collection; maintain accurate records
- Support payroll tracking and step in as needed to assist staff
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a high level of professionalism
- Strong customer service mindset with students and families

Compensation: $55,000

Requirements:Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; higher education preferred
- 2+ years of childcare or program management experience
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PROCARE
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
