Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Compensation Manager to lead the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs that support business objectives, employee engagement, and organizational growth. This role will serve as a key advisor to leadership and Human Resources, ensuring compensation strategies remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with overall business goals.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in compensation planning, market analysis, incentive design, and organizational consulting, while partnering closely with executives and business leaders to drive effective Total Rewards strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executives, HR leaders, and business stakeholders on all compensation-related matters.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and administration of compensation strategies, programs, policies, and practices.
  • Partner with leadership to design and execute compensation plans aligned with organizational objectives and financial goals.
  • Conduct market benchmarking, salary analysis, and competitive compensation reviews to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Provide guidance on compensation structures, pay positioning, annual incentives, variable pay, and equity-based compensation programs.
  • Lead job evaluation, market pricing, internal equity analysis, and position classification initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver compensation-related training and education for HR and leadership teams.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and hiring leaders to support compensation decisions related to hiring, promotions, and organizational changes.
  • Analyze compensation data, trends, metrics, and workforce analytics to support business decisions.
  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to compensation programs to improve effectiveness and employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Manage compensation systems, reporting, and data integrity.
  • Lead and mentor compensation professionals while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Support multiple HR initiatives and projects of varying complexity in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.

Experience

  • 5–10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including significant expertise in compensation management and project leadership.
  • Strong experience designing and administering compensation programs, salary structures, and incentive plans.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (such as Workday or similar systems) is highly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with leaders at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience navigating complex business environments and leading strategic initiatives.
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
