You will design, operate, and evolve the foundational cloud infrastructure that supports large-scale production workloads used by global enterprise customers.
The position focuses on treating infrastructure as software, with strong emphasis on automation, reliability, observability, and performance at scale.
You will work in a fast-paced engineering environment where infrastructure decisions directly influence product stability, scalability, and customer experience.
A key part of the role involves building and maintaining cloud-native systems, edge computing solutions, and distributed backend services.
You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure systems are resilient, well-instrumented, and capable of handling rapid growth.

- Design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure that supports high-availability production systems and services.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions to ensure reliable, automated, and version-controlled deployments.
- Implement and optimize observability systems, including logging, metrics, dashboards, and distributed tracing.
- Work with edge computing architectures, determining when workloads should be executed at the edge versus centralized infrastructure.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve database performance bottlenecks, ensuring scalability and system reliability.
- Design and manage asynchronous workflows and job queue systems to support resilient, retryable processing pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system architecture, deployment processes, and operational best practices.
- Write production-grade code (primarily in Python) to support infrastructure tooling and automation.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security through proactive monitoring and continuous improvement.
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or related roles in high-velocity environments.
- Strong experience designing, deploying, and operating cloud infrastructure at scale, preferably on GCP or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or equivalent solutions.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and production reliability principles.
- Experience implementing observability systems, including structured logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of database performance tuning, scaling strategies, and bottleneck resolution.
- Experience with workflow orchestration or job queue systems such as Airflow, Prefect, Temporal, or similar tools.
- Ability to write production-quality Python code and approach infrastructure with a software engineering mindset.
- Familiarity with edge computing architectures and asynchronous system design is a strong advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to preventing system failures and outages.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative engineering environments.
