Job Description
About BullFrog AI
BullFrog AI (NASDAQ: BFRG) is a computational biology company spun out of the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. We build AI-powered platforms that help pharmaceutical and biotech companies make better, faster decisions across the drug development lifecycle:
- bfPREP™ — biology-aware data harmonization that unlocks fragmented clinical and omics datasets
- bfLEAP™ — causal AI analytics for patient subgroup discovery, biomarker identification, and drug target prioritization
- bfARENAS™ — structured multi-criteria decision support for high-stakes portfolio and go/no-go decisions
The Role
BullFrog AI is seeking a Scientific Marketing Lead to own the full commercial marketing function at a critical moment in our growth. This is not a traditional marketing role — and it is not a scientific communications role. It is both, simultaneously, in a lean environment where the output has to be high-quality and the pace has to match an early-stage commercial team building from scratch.
Two Premium Sponsorships are already committed — BioTechX USA (September 2026, Boston) and AIDDD (October 2026, Boston). This person needs to be in seat and moving quickly. The right candidate is scientifically literate enough to earn credibility with PhD-level buyers, commercially minded enough to know which content moves pipeline, and operationally sharp enough to run a multi-conference calendar without dropping a deadline.
What You’ll Build
Scientific Content & Credibility
- Own the commercial content library: one-pagers, capability briefs, case studies, and battlecards for all three BullFrog capabilities
- Translate complex analytical science into clear, compelling narratives for scientific VP-level buyers
- Develop and manage the conference abstract pipeline across ASCO, AACR, DIA, BioTechX, AIDDD, and other key events
Digital Pipeline & Growth
- Own BullFrog’s digital presence: website content, LinkedIn, and executive voice strategy
- Build the outbound content engine: email sequences, LinkedIn cadences, and nurture tracks that support AE pipeline development
- Manage marketing attribution in HubSpot so contribution to pipeline is visible and reported monthly
Conference & Events
- Own end-to-end BioTechX USA and AIDDD activations: logistics, speaking content, pre-event meeting strategy, and post-event follow-up
- Build and execute pre-conference outreach to load AE pipelines with scheduled conversations before each event
- Track and report conference ROI: meetings booked, pipeline generated, and opportunities opened
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of marketing experience in life sciences, pharma, biotech, or a life sciences technology company
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific content into compelling narratives for expert audiences — you can write for a Head of Translational Medicine and make it land
- Proven conference and events ownership: abstract submissions, booth coordination, pre-event outreach, and post-event follow-up
- Entrepreneurial mindset: energized by building from scratch, not frustrated by the absence of existing infrastructure
- AI-native working style — you use AI tools to do more, faster, and better; this is an expectation, not a differentiator
Who Will Thrive Here
- A builder’s mentality — more motivated by creating something that didn’t exist than by optimizing something that already works
- Scientific curiosity — you find the biology genuinely interesting, and that shows in your writing
- Commercial orientation — you measure your work by pipeline generated and opportunities opened, not content pieces produced
- Discipline and follow-through — conference logistics are unforgiving; you close every loop
What We Offer
A dynamic, collaborative startup environment with direct access to leadership and scientific team with competitive base compensation with performance-based incentives and equity participation. Full benefits including medical, dental, and vision from day one, short-term disability, 401(k) from first paycheck, 15 days PTO, 11 paid holidays annually, and maternity and paternity leave.
