BioCure is an Ambulatory Infusion Suite (AIS) management company that provides oversite and nursing for practice-based physician infusion sites. We are seeking an infusion nurse with the desire to help people feel better to join our team for one of our neurology suites.

Position: Registered Nurse
Department: AIS Nursing Services
Objective
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing nursing services to assigned patients in accordance with the patient’s plan of care.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the clinical record for each patient receiving nursing care.
- Assure that progress reports are made to the physician for patients receiving nursing services, when the patient’s condition changes, or there are deviations from the plan of care.
- Adhere to department policies and procedures.
- Furnish those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill.
- Initiate appropriate preventive nursing procedures.
- Prepare clinical and progress notes, coordinates services, informs the physician and other personnel of changes in the patient's condition and needs.
- Counsel the patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs.
- Demonstrate competency in providing patient care and provides care in accordance with professional standards and state’s nurse practice act.
- Initiate case conferences and communicate patient plan of care with team members.
- Evaluate and re-evaluate the need for services.
- Provide appropriate patient education and teaching materials.
- Report daily supplies inventory and reorder supplies as needed.
- Participate in in-service education programs provided by the pharmacy.
- Pursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities and license requirements.
- Represent BioCure in a positive and professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current RN state license.
- Five years of nursing experience.
- Two years of infusion therapy experience.
- Impeccable IV skills – PIVs, Ports, and PICCs.
- Current CPR card and health certificate.
- Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills in speaking and writing.
- Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records.
- Ability to recognize and direct information to the appropriate health care provider.
- Computer skills that include word processing, and efficient use of the internet and e-mail.
