Job Overview:
Apex Industries is seeking a skilled and motivated Fabricator to join our Custom Contract Manufacturing Group. This full-time, permanent position reports to the Fabrication Supervisor and plays a key role in the fitting and welding of various materials used in our custom manufacturing projects.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in reading blueprints and interpreting weld symbols.

Apex Industries is seeking a skilled and motivated Fabricator to join our Custom Contract Manufacturing Group. This full-time, permanent position reports to the Fabrication Supervisor and plays a key role in the fitting and welding of various materials used in our custom manufacturing projects.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in reading blueprints and interpreting weld symbols.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to plan, layout, fit, assemble, and weld stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum.
- Interpret weld symbols and drawing notes to ensure all components are fabricated to specifications and tolerances.
- Verify materials and finished products meet applicable standards and quality requirements.
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following company safety procedures and proper equipment handling.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of fabrication experience; CWB welding tickets are considered an asset.
- Knowledge of rigging procedures, crane operation, and forklift safety is an asset.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
