JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in housekeeping, floor care, janitorial or other customer service related area required. Previous housekeeping experience preferred. Previous lead/supervisor experience in organizing work forces to obtain budgeting and production goals preferred. Must be able to identify and implement cost saving ideas and programs through independent decision making. Health Care experience a plus.

Other: Complete understanding of all aspects of Environmental Services/Housekeeping/Recycling including knowledge of all cleaning chemicals and floor finishes preferred. Ability to manage work flow and interact positively with coworkers and other hospital staff. Effective oral and written communication skills. Knowledge and use of computer.
