About Atmosphere TV

Atmosphere is the leading streaming TV platform built specifically for businesses. Unlike ad networks or signage companies, Atmosphere is the only true TV company whose first priority is to entertain television audiences outside of the home. Our content is designed to be fun, engaging, and worth watching, transforming waiting rooms, gyms, bars, and restaurants into better experiences for customers and better businesses for owners.

We are the first and only company to think about both the business owner and their customers when creating TV content. With 55,000+ venues and a global audience of over 150 million monthly viewers, Atmosphere is redefining what TV means outside the living room.

About the role

We’re looking for a Sr. Director, National Agency Lead to own Atmosphere’s partnership with Omnicom and its agencies and grow the video advertising revenue we earn across the holding company. This is a player-coach role on our National Ad Sales team: you’ll carry your own agency relationships and revenue targets while leading a team of Brand Directors focused on specific GroupM accounts.

Reporting to the VP of National Sales – East, you’ll set the long-term partnership strategy within Omnicom, work directly with senior agency stakeholders, and partner with our Product, Marketing, Programmatic, and Research teams to bring more video, digital, and DOOH budgets onto Atmosphere.

This is a hybrid in-office role based in our New York City office.

What you'll do

  • Own Atmosphere’s top-down relationship with GroupM and its agencies, building senior-level advocacy that turns into repeatable, scalable investment.
  • Define and execute a multi-year go-to-market and partnership strategy within GroupM that drives adoption, account expansion, and revenue growth.
  • Grow spend from current key accounts and bring new advertiser investment onto Atmosphere through GroupM’s agencies.
  • Build and present insight-driven business cases to senior agency stakeholders across Investment, Programmatic, Analytics, and Product teams.
  • Educate client, agency, and programmatic buy teams on why their video, digital, and DOOH budgets belong on Atmosphere.
  • Identify, negotiate, and close larger joint business partnerships and Upfront deals with Omnicom and its partners.
  • Lead and coach a team of Brand Directors, setting account priorities, reviewing pipeline, and holding the team to its revenue targets.
  • Own agency planning and forecasting across key accounts and centralized teams, keeping the pipeline healthy and forecasts accurate.
  • Map client and agency brands across GroupM and coordinate with Atmosphere sellers in other markets so every holding-company opportunity gets activated.
  • Run regular business reviews with agency partners to assess KPIs, campaign impact, and spend trends, and adjust the partnership plan based on what you learn.
  • Partner with internal Sales, Product, Marketing, Programmatic, Account Management, and Research teams to build custom solutions for clients.
  • Bring agency feedback and needs back to Product to influence the roadmap.
  • Report account health, revenue impact, and progress to senior leadership.
  • Represent Atmosphere at industry events, presenting our value proposition to existing and prospective clients.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years selling digital and video media to national brands and agencies, including 2+ years managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Established relationships with agency and brand decision makers that you can put to work for Atmosphere from day one.
  • Background selling digital, video, and/or DOOH media; experience at a challenger media brand is a plus.
  • Track record of closing business by identifying a client’s needs and tying the deal to measurable outcomes.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, including with senior agency and brand stakeholders.
  • Strong organization and communication skills to manage a high volume of opportunities across multiple accounts at once.
  • Genuine interest in building relationships, both with clients and with teams across Atmosphere.
  • Curious and coachable: you ask why, learn from losses as much as wins, and treat a “no” as a “not now.”
  • A collaborative, positive working style that makes you someone your team enjoys working with.
  • Based in the New York City metro area.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive base + commission structure
  • Company Equity
  • Company 401(k) with employer matching
  • Competitive insurance plans
  • Flexible Time Off Policy

The base salary for this position is $175,000 - $190,000 + commission. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role.

Our Commitment to Diversity:

Don’t meet every single requirement? Research shows that women and underrepresented groups often hesitate to apply unless they meet all the criteria. At Atmosphere, we’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive team where creativity, innovation, and teamwork thrive. If you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t perfectly align with every qualification, we still encourage you to apply—you might be the right fit for this or another role.
