Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced, licensed Speech Therapist to join our team! As a Speech Therapist, you will meet with new patients, assess their speech needs, and create personalized treatment plans to help them reach their goals. You will also document all patient care, observe and participate in treatment, and adjust goals and milestones as needed to support the best possible outcomes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of speech pathology, can provide compassionate care to every patient, and has excellent organizational skills. Responsibilities Meet with patients for the first time in their speech journey, answering introductory questionsMake evaluations and create treatment plans customized for that patient, working with them to set short- and long-term goals for their speech and wellnessAssist in the implementation of the treatment plan, adjusting as needed to ensure successful outcomesMaintain excellent records of patient needs, care, and outcomesWork closely with the family of the patients and the patients themselves to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for successQualificationsActive state license for practicing speech therapyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skillsStrong charting and documentation skills
