Position OverviewWe are seeking a Process Engineering Technician – Machining & Fabrication to support manufacturing operations, process improvement initiatives, and new product introductions within our Lewiston facility.
This role works closely with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to improve manufacturing processes, support new product launches, troubleshoot production challenges, and help drive continuous improvement efforts. The Process Engineering Technician will play a key role in bridging engineering and production by providing technical support and ensuring manufacturing processes are efficient, repeatable, and capable of meeting customer requirements.

Requirements: Key Responsibilities
• Support machining and fabrication operations with technical guidance and process improvements
• Assist with new product launches, pilot runs, FAIs, and process validation activities
• Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation and work instructions
• Analyze customer drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
• Support equipment installations, process improvements, and manufacturing optimization projects
• Collect and analyze process data to improve performance and product quality
• Assist with investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to resolve production challenges
• Successful support of new product launches and manufacturing transitions
• Improved process consistency, capability, and efficiency
• Accurate and effective manufacturing documentation
• Strong collaboration between Engineering, Quality, and Operations
• Reduced quality issues and improved corrective action effectiveness
• Meaningful contributions to continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
• Associate degree in a technical field preferred or equivalent manufacturing experience
• 3+ years of experience in machining, fabrication, manufacturing engineering, or a related environment
• Knowledge of CNC machining, multi-axis machining, and fabrication processes
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD
• Understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and precision measurement techniques
• Familiarity with CAM software, G-code, CMM inspection, and manufacturing best practices
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
