Precisely is an AI-first organization. All employees are expected to demonstrate proficiency in applying AI tools to accelerate their work, improve output quality, and eliminate low-value tasks. Candidates should be comfortable using generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) in their day-to-day workflows, able to evaluate AI-generated outputs critically, and open to continuously adopting new AI capabilities as they emerge.
This position is 100% remote anywhere in the US.
The Senior Account Executive will achieve maximum sales profitability, market penetration, and growth for Preciselys Data Integrity suite into assigned State, Local, and Education and supporting partners This will be done by effectively prospecting to new target accounts and managing existing accounts to meet Preciselys rapid growth plans and expand their global presence as leaders in data integrity.
What you will do:
- Learn and understand Precisely products and services, and the Precisely approved sales methodology.
- Develop an understanding of key industry trends, market opportunities, and common pain points in your territory.
- Develop and execute business plans to generate pipeline and revenue within assigned territory.
- Build strong client relationships and leverage that network to expand into new accounts or buying centers.
- Collaborate with Preciselys Marketing, Sales Engineering, Services teams and more to generate customer demand and compelling business propositions based on Preciselys solutions.
- Leverage internal resources and the broader Precisely ecosystem - channel partners, distributors, and technology partners - to extend your reach and impact within your territory.
- Prioritize customer value and experience throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Document sales steps and manage your territory forecast utilizing Preciselys Salesforce CRM.
- Support the VP of Sales in accordance with the regions strategy and plans.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of software sales experience in the SLED space selling into the Northeast territory but especially New York
- Capabilities in managing major accounts and/or previous experience working within the State and Local Departments or Agencies and Academic Institutions
- Ability to build relationships at all levels within prospects, customers, partners, and within Precisely
- Excellent selling skills and the ability to close business
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
- Strong business and operations acumen especially within the Government sector
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management skills
- Good business maturity, negotiating, and decision-making skills
- Functional and organizational knowledge of State & Local Government
- Experience utilizing AI for account planning, meeting preparation, meeting coaching, finding target accounts (ex. Gong, Co-Pilot, etc.)
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience (desired)
- Experience in data management, data quality and location intelligence (desired)
