This role sits at the intersection of quality engineering, product strategy, and business alignment, where you will define how quality is embedded across the software development lifecycle. You will act as a key voice for quality, ensuring that testing strategies directly support business outcomes and product goals. The position involves close collaboration with product managers, developers, and QA engineers to shape test strategies, mitigate risks early, and ensure strong release readiness. You will own quality planning for critical SaaS features while also contributing hands-on to functional and exploratory testing when needed. Working in a collaborative and agile environment, you will help drive a quality-first culture across teams and ensure reliable, high-performing product delivery. This is a high-impact role combining strategic thinking, stakeholder influence, and practical QA expertise.

• Define and drive the overall quality strategy in alignment with product and business objectives, ensuring clear success criteria for each release.
• Design, plan, and execute comprehensive testing approaches including functional, regression, exploratory, and acceptance testing for critical features.
• Act as the primary advocate for quality, identifying risks early and ensuring testability is integrated into requirements from the beginning.
• Collaborate closely with development and QA automation teams to align manual and automated testing efforts effectively.
• Establish, refine, and monitor QA processes, standards, and quality metrics across the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute hands-on to testing activities for web and API-based systems when required.
• Support release quality ownership, ensuring readiness, stability, and reduced production risk.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall testing efficiency and product reliability.

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with progression into lead or strategic QA roles.
• Strong experience designing test strategies for complex SaaS or cloud-based applications.
• Hands-on expertise in functional, exploratory, and regression testing across web and API systems.
• Strong understanding of QA processes, test planning, and quality assurance best practices.
• Ability to translate technical quality risks into clear business impact and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or PyTest (collaboration-focused).
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
• Experience with tools like Jira or TestRail for defect tracking and test management.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in ambiguous environments.
