Digital Engagement Intern in Washington, District of Columbia at National League Of Cities Services, Inc.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The National League of Cities is working to transform the digital user experience across our channels, and we are seeking an intern to help contribute to this work. This internship offers a wide variety of learning experiences to build skills in the digital space, across web, social, email, video, and app communications. This position will work with both the Digital Engagement and Database teams to facilitate a smooth user experience across digital platforms.

Seeking a college major in marketing, U/X, technology or information design, communications, journalism, or a related field. Preference to applicants with a background or interest in data workflows and coding, as well as digital communications, including social media, graphic design, branding, content creation, and web design. SQL or other similar database experience a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Activities for the Digital Engagement internship may include, but are not limited to:

Collaborate with the database team to improve user experience and data flow to support tailored marketing campaignsCurate and tag video, photo and resource library contentConduct digital metric analysis to uncover insights and inform marketing effortsSupport special projects, including video scripting and editing
