Requirements:

• High school graduate. Some college or a bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active 2-20 or 20-44 Florida Property and Casualty license.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of agency or relevant insurance experience.
• Knowledge and experience working with carriers specific to the Florida property insurance market required.
• Sales oriented and ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook; Applied Epic experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to inbound sales inquiries and assigned leads in a timely and professional manner.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive, exceptional customer service.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client insurance requirements, preferences, and priorities; recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
• Obtain and review quotes from appropriate insurance carriers and markets, ensuring accuracy, eligibility, coverage, limits, deductibles, premiums, and underwriting requirements.
• Customize insurance packages based on individual client needs and preferences; advise clients on policies that are best suited for their needs.
• Present and explain insurance policy options to clients, highlighting coverage details, benefits, and premiums.
• Close new business sales and meet established monthly, quarterly, and/or annual production goals.
• Ensure completed sales are accurately documented and transitioned to the appropriate service team.
