Intern - Engineering in EAST LIBERTY, Ohio at TRANSPORTATION RESEARCH CENTER INC.

The Engineering Intern will work on multiple projects to support automotive safety research. Working with engineers to conduct complex engineering testing and analyses, assist in planning and direction. Interns often collaborate with developers and other testers, participate in team meetings, and contribute to test documentation.

• Assist developing and use of analytical procedures, component and/or full-scale vehicle testing

• Primarily in the areas of automated vehicles and automotive cyber security research.

• Assist with design analyses of motor vehicle safety systems

• This may involve learning and using automation tools to streamline testing efforts and improve efficiency

• Collaborating with development teams

• Interns work with Test Engineers to understand requirements, report bugs, and verify fixes.

• Participating in team meetings and documentation

• This includes contributing to discussions, sharing findings, and updating test documentation.

• Gaining experience with testing procedures

• Interns will gain experience with various testing methods and frameworks used for automated and manual testing. Interns will learn about different testing techniques and approaches used in the industry.

• Assist with troubleshooting and debugging equipment

• Interns may assist in identifying the root cause of issues found during testing

• High school diploma is required

• Working towards either a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or related field
