Primary Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technical staff with patient care and treatments
• Safely restrain animals during examinations, diagnostics, and procedures
• Administer medications as directed by a veterinarian
• Assist during medical procedures and emergencies
• Collect blood, urine, and fecal samples and learn proper laboratory handling techniques
• Prepare for and clean up after surgical procedures
• Clean and sanitize cages, kennels, and treatment areas
• Bathe and groom animals as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital
• Support a positive client experience through professionalism and compassionate care

Qualifications & Skills

• Passion for animal care and interest in veterinary medicine
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to learn new skills and accept constructive feedback
• Ability to safely lift and restrain animals of varying sizes
• Previous veterinary or animal handling experience is a plus, but not required
