Marketing & Development Manager

Sadler Health Center | Carlisle, PA | Full Time

We’re seeking a Marketing & Development Manager to execute marketing, communications, fundraising and donor engagement initiatives. This is a hands-on role for an organized, resourceful professional who enjoys writing, creating content, managing projects and bringing ideas to life.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Development, you’ll work closely with colleagues across Sadler to promote our services, strengthen our brand, engage supporters and communicate the impact of our work.

What You’ll Do

Marketing & Communications

  • Create and manage an editorial calendar for marketing campaigns, communications, fundraising initiatives and events.
  • Write and produce engaging content for external and internal communications channels.
  • Plan and monitor social media content, audience engagement and performance.
  • Maintain and update website content in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Support SEO and digital marketing efforts, including coordination with external partners on paid advertising and website performance.
  • Manage Sadler’s Google Business Profile listings and monitor online reviews.
  • Develop branded marketing materials, including digital and print collateral, presentations and signage.
  • Capture photography and short-form video for marketing and communications.
  • Order promotional items and maintain inventory.

Development & Donor Engagement

  • Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, annual appeals and donor engagement initiatives.
  • Develop donor communications, fundraising materials and storytelling that demonstrates Sadler’s impact.
  • Manage donor acknowledgments, stewardship communications and sponsorship fulfillment.
  • Maintain donor records and track fundraising and engagement results.
  • Support marketing, communications and logistics for fundraising and community events.

Collaboration & Performance

  • Partner with departments across Sadler to advance campaigns and organizational priorities.
  • Coordinate with vendors, sponsors and community partners.
  • Monitor marketing and fundraising performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Represent Sadler professionally with staff, leadership, donors, partners and the community.
  • Work independently, take responsibility and meet deadlines.

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications

  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to create clear, engaging content while maintaining attention to detail and brand consistency.
  • Ability to build effective professional relationships and collaborate across departments.
  • Sound judgment, professionalism and discretion in external and internal communications.
  • Ability to monitor, analyze and report on marketing, fundraising and engagement metrics.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Preferred Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, fundraising, nonprofit development or a related field.
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, website CMS and social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of or experience with SEO, Google Ads, Meta advertising, website analytics or other digital marketing tools.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or similar technologies.
  • Experience in a health care or nonprofit environment.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, nonprofit management, business or a related field preferred.
