Job Description
Rehza Inc. seeks a detail-oriented and technically capable Business Analyst to turn business needs, client feedback, and product decisions into clear requirements for design, development, and QA. The analyst will support Rehza's homeowner mobile application, Builder Portal, AI features, integrations, and internal workflows. This role requires strong discovery skills, precise documentation, practical product judgment, and consistent ownership from initial analysis through user acceptance testing and release.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead requirement discovery with business leaders, clients, product owners, users, designers, developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Convert discussions, feedback, and product decisions into problem statements, business rules, process flows, functional requirements, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, assumptions, and open questions.
- Analyze homeowner and builder workflows across mobile and web products, including home profiles, documents, Smart Inbox, AI chat, notifications, sales processes, construction workflows, roles, permissions, and third-party integrations.
- Define scope and out-of-scope items; identify dependencies, data needs, validation rules, edge cases, error states, privacy considerations, and operational impacts before work enters development.
- Maintain a prioritized and traceable product backlog in Jira or comparable tools; keep requirements, decisions, changes, approvals, designs, and test evidence connected.
- Facilitate stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, workflow reviews, backlog refinement, and requirement walkthroughs; document decisions, owners, and next steps.
- Partner with UI and UX designers to review wireframes and prototypes and confirm that proposed flows address the documented user problem and business rules.
- Work with engineers to clarify functional behavior, data movement, API dependencies, permissions, integration requirements, and failure handling during implementation.
- Work with QA to review test scenarios, confirm acceptance coverage, support user acceptance testing, investigate requirement gaps, and verify that completed work meets approved requirements.
- Assess requirement changes during delivery, document impact on scope, timeline, design, development, testing, and dependent features, and obtain the appropriate stakeholder decision.
- Use product analytics, support issues, customer feedback, and observed behavior to identify recurring problems and recommend practical product or process improvements.
- Prepare release notes, workflow documentation, user guidance, and stakeholder summaries when needed to support launches and operational readiness.
- Use approved AI tools to improve research, analysis, and documentation while verifying accuracy, protecting confidential information, and applying independent judgment.
- Maintain accurate records and perform all work in accordance with company policies, security requirements, and applicable laws.
Initial Success Priorities
- First 30 days: learn Rehza's homeowner and builder products, business model, stakeholders, terminology, current backlog, documentation practices, and release process; identify the most important requirements and workflow gaps.
- Days 31 to 60: independently lead discovery and refinement for an assigned product area; improve story quality, traceability, decision records, and acceptance coverage; establish a reliable follow-up cadence with product, engineering, and QA.
- Days 61 to 90: own requirements through implementation and UAT for a meaningful release; demonstrate fewer clarification loops, earlier identification of dependencies and edge cases, and clear stakeholder communication.
- First year: become a dependable product and process partner who improves requirement quality, reduces preventable rework, strengthens release readiness, and maintains usable documentation across Rehza's products.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Office-based position at Rehza's United States office, requiring dependable attendance and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Work hours will follow the applicable US office schedule, with reasonable flexibility for stakeholder meetings, product reviews, and release coordination.
- Regular use of computers, phones, video conferencing, project-management systems, and other office technology.
- Ability to remain stationary and communicate by phone or video for extended periods.
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
