Job Summary: Direct, coordinate, control activities of and work alongside workers who produce and package all Gluten Free bakery products. Responsible for the safety, quality and efficiency of production on designated line.
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary
• Maintains an atmosphere of enthusiasm
• Show and provide proper training on all equipment and functions. Assist workers in practicing clean, safe and sanitary procedures in work area and with all equipment
• Trains and encourages all workers to progress to highest level of production speed and accuracy.
• Maintains production time and records.
• Follow all packaging/handling procedures to ensure quality of goods by following code.

• Communicate with supervisors on quality of all baked goods, information on stock levels of packaging materials.
• Communicate any equipment malfunction/issues with maintenance department.
• Documents disciplinary issues such as tardy and sick calls and turns in to HR.
• Communicates all performance and disciplinary issues with production supervisor and Human Resources as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Ability to:
• Perform in a friendly, courteous, tactful way and maintain composure in dealing with others.
• Visually inspect products.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Stand for long periods of time, walk, move rapidly, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.
• Operate bakery utensils with manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination and safety.
• Handle bakery ingredients.
• Perform basic math (add, subtract, divide and multiple) and compute weights and measures.
• Perform duties with mental alertness involving potential hazards with respect to baking procedures, equipment, and work aides.
• Perform around equipment and product emitting heat (approximately 400 degrees).
• Learn safety and sanitation procedures and department policies.
• Perform primary duties with efficiency and accuracy.
• Wear hats, hairnets, gloves, and other personal protective equipment as required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Line Lead absence will be covered by the Production Supervisor.
