Dental Office Manager – Honolulu, HI
We are seeking an experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Honolulu dental practice. The ideal candidate will have previous dental office management experience, strong leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of dental practice operations.
The Dental Office Manager will be responsible for supporting an efficient, patient-focused environment while ensuring the practice meets its operational, financial, and compliance goals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and workflow of the dental office
- Lead, train, and support administrative team members
- Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and records
- Monitor accounts receivable, collections, insurance verification, and other financial processes
- Maintain accurate patient records and protect confidential information in accordance with HIPAA requirements
- Promote clear communication and collaboration among doctors, clinical staff, and administrative team members
- Develop and implement office procedures that improve efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Monitor practice performance and help the team achieve operational goals
- Address patient questions or concerns professionally and promptly
- Ensure office policies and applicable healthcare regulations are followed
Required Qualifications
- Previous dental office management or dental leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of dental office operations, insurance processes, billing, collections, and accounts receivable
- Experience supervising and developing team members
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of HIPAA requirements and patient confidentiality
- Proficiency with dental practice management software; Open Dental experience is preferred

The pay range for this role is:
70,000 - 80,000 USD per year(Honolulu)
