Training Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Training Specialist based in India.

This is a fully remote contract opportunity supporting large-scale training and learning initiatives for an enterprise ERP modernization program.
You will lead training activities from learning needs analysis and strategy through development, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
The role focuses on creating practical, role-based learning experiences for both technical and non-technical audiences.
You will translate complex ERP systems, business processes, and workflows into accessible and engaging training materials.
Working with business stakeholders, technical teams, subject matter experts, vendors, and change leaders, you will ensure learning solutions remain accurate and relevant.
The position offers broad ownership across instructional design, facilitation, digital adoption, governance, learning analytics, and stakeholder engagement.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead enterprise-wide training initiatives from learning needs assessment through implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct learning needs analysis, audience analysis, role assessments, and business-process analysis to identify training requirements.
  • Develop role-based training strategies and determine appropriate delivery approaches, including instructor-led, virtual, blended, and self-paced learning.
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain end-to-end learning solutions tailored to different audiences and business needs.
  • Create e-learning modules, instructor-led and virtual training, instructional videos, multimedia content, digital adoption resources, job aids, quick reference guides, and performance support materials.
  • Apply adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, accessibility standards, and user-centered design practices.
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Translate complex ERP systems, business processes, workflows, and technical concepts into clear and practical training content.
  • Collaborate with business process owners, subject matter experts, technical teams, vendors, program leadership, and change networks to gather, validate, and reconcile requirements.
  • Manage stakeholder feedback and competing recommendations while maintaining alignment with business objectives and learning outcomes.
  • Coordinate training schedules, dependencies, priorities, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder communications.
  • Establish and maintain training governance processes covering intake and prioritization, review and approval, quality assurance, version control, accessibility, and content maintenance.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using learner feedback, assessments, performance metrics, adoption indicators, and other learning analytics.
  • Analyze learning results and implement continuous improvements based on evidence and learner needs.
  • Use approved digital adoption, multimedia, collaboration, content-development, and AI-enabled tools to improve training delivery and learner support.
  • Ensure training materials meet applicable organizational policies, accessibility requirements, privacy standards, and compliance expectations.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to junior trainers and other learning contributors.
  • Maintain training content so that it remains accurate, current, consistent, accessible, and aligned with ongoing ERP changes.

Requirements:

  • University degree in a related field such as Adult Education, Instructional Design, Learning and Development, or a comparable discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience conducting learning needs analysis, audience analysis, and role assessments.
  • At least 2 years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end learning solutions.
  • At least 2 years of experience facilitating instructor-led and virtual training for diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience designing or configuring digital adoption solutions, embedded guidance, walkthroughs, or similar user-support experiences is an advantage.
  • Experience developing accessible e-learning, instructional videos, audio content, or other multimedia learning materials is an advantage.
  • Experience gathering requirements, facilitating reviews, managing stakeholder feedback, and reconciling competing requirements is an advantage.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to support instructional design, learning analysis, content development, or training delivery is an advantage.
  • Experience using learner feedback, assessments, performance measures, adoption indicators, and learning analytics to improve training effectiveness is an advantage.
  • Experience developing or delivering training for ERP systems, particularly areas such as Finance, HCM, Payroll, or Supply Chain, is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, accessibility, and user-centered learning approaches.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to make complex concepts accessible to different audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management, organization, prioritization, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain high-quality training content, and adapt learning solutions as systems and business processes evolve.
  • Willingness to complete the required conflict-of-interest attestation.
