Video Ad Copywriter / Creative Producer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Video Ad Copywriter / Creative Producer based in the United States.

This role is focused on creating high-performing direct-response video advertising for Meta, with a strong emphasis on Amazon PPC and the seller ecosystem.
You’ll turn customer insights, performance data, proof points, and offers into compelling creative concepts and scripts.
The role spans the full creative process, from developing angles and hooks through production coordination and final review.
You’ll work closely with founders, on-camera talent, editors, and marketing stakeholders to bring ideas to life.
Your creative decisions will be informed by real campaign performance, allowing you to continuously refine messaging and testing strategies.
This is an ownership-driven opportunity for a marketer who combines strong copywriting instincts with analytical thinking and commercial awareness.
The position is fully remote and open to candidates working from North America or the United Kingdom.

Accountabilities
  • Develop direct-response video ad concepts for Meta using customer pain points, offers, account insights, client results, testimonials, and winning creative as inputs.
  • Write persuasive, concise, and natural-sounding scripts for Amazon sellers and brands, developing multiple hooks, angles, and meaningful creative variations.
  • Translate rough marketing ideas, customer insights, and performance findings into clear, shoot-ready scripts and detailed creative briefs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Amazon PPC services and the target audience so that problems, solutions, offers, and results are communicated accurately and credibly.
  • Research competitors, objections, customer pain points, and existing advertising to uncover new creative opportunities and messaging angles.
  • Incorporate testimonials, case studies, screenshots, performance data, and other forms of customer proof while verifying claims, figures, and permissions before publication.
  • Prepare and direct founders or other on-camera talent when needed, ensuring they understand the intended messaging and delivery.
  • Coordinate with video editors by providing scripts, footage, assets, references, and clear creative instructions.
  • Review completed edits and provide actionable feedback on hooks, pacing, messaging, proof, calls to action, and overall effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the broader team to move approved creative through production and prepare it for launch.
  • Analyze Meta advertising performance and translate results into stronger hooks, angles, scripts, and future creative tests.
  • Maintain an organized repository of hooks, winning ads, customer proof, scripts, concepts, and other creative resources.
Requirements
  • Proven experience writing direct-response video ad scripts or copy for Meta/Facebook advertising.
  • Strong working knowledge of Amazon PPC and the Amazon seller ecosystem, with the ability to write credible and specific marketing copy for this audience.
  • Experience marketing agencies, consulting businesses, high-ticket services, or comparable offers.
  • A portfolio featuring Meta direct-response video ads or scripts that demonstrates your personal contribution.
  • Solid understanding of Meta advertising, creative strategy, testing methodologies, and direct-response principles including hooks, pain points, objections, proof, offers, mechanisms, and calls to action.
  • Ability to transform customer insights, results, data, or rough ideas into compelling concepts and scripts that sound natural when spoken aloud.
  • Native-level English fluency and an excellent ear for conversational language.
  • Experience using customer results, testimonials, or case studies as advertising proof.
  • Ability to use performance data to inform creative decisions and develop meaningful variations rather than superficial rewrites.
  • Experience using AI tools for research, data analysis, ideation, or developing new creative angles.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence collaborating with founders, on-camera talent, editors, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent organization and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage scripts, assets, approvals, edits, and deadlines.
  • A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset, including the ability to identify missing information or assets and move projects forward independently.
  • Must be based in North America or the United Kingdom.
Benefits
  • Fully remote work environment.
  • Opportunity to own the creative process from concept and copywriting through production and launch.
  • Direct exposure to performance data and the opportunity to continuously optimize creative based on measurable results.
  • Collaboration with experienced marketing professionals, founders, creative talent, and video production specialists.
  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of direct-response advertising, Amazon PPC, Meta advertising, and AI-powered creative workflows.
  • High-autonomy environment that values initiative, experimentation, and measurable impact.
  • Opportunity to build a portfolio of performance-focused advertising creative across the Amazon seller and brand ecosystem.
