Overhire Production Crew in Eau Claire, Wisconsin at Pablo Center

Pablo Center is continually looking for interested technicians for extra help on larger productions for scenery, audio, lighting, wardrobe,

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to follow instructions accurately
• Work for long periods of time standing
• Carry approximately 50lbs
• Interest in learning entertainment production from touring shows.

Advanced Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of sound/lighting/scenic technology and terminology
• Knowledge of theater terminology including stage directions
• Experience working in technical theatre on a backstage crew
• Comfortability working at height
• Ability to troubleshoot on the fly in a calm and professional manner

What you will do:

Depending on experience, abilities, and interest overhire crew assist with any or all of the following items and more.

• Unloading trucks or scenery, equipment, costumes and merch
• Installing and assembling scenery for theater productions
• Hanging soft goods and lighting fixtures on counterweight linesets
• Focusing lighting fixtures in catwalks, box booms, and with personnel lifts
• Running cable for audio and lighting equipment
• Pinning stages under tour supervision
• Assembling speaker systems
• Cleaning and prepping costumes for stage
• Connecting truss
• Rolling our marley dance floors
• Stacking road cases
• Acting as run crew for larger shows as a spotlight operator, dresser, stagehand, etc.

This position will be on an as needed basis.
