Job Description

Description:

Role: Coordinator

Employment Type: Part-Time, Temporary Contract (approximately 20 hours per week; renewed quarterly with potential to expand)

Location: Remote (U.S.)

Note: This position is part of COLOR’s staffing program. You’ll work part-time on a client engagement while being employed by COLOR. We’re looking to fill this role as soon as possible.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Creative Project Coordinator to manage projects from start to finish for the in-house global video team of a leading enterprise technology company. You’ll own the full project life cycle: kicking off work from the creative brief, overseeing the creation of presentation decks, coordinating execution across editors, designers, and motion designers, guiding stakeholder review cycles, and seeing every project through to final delivery. You’ll partner closely with the team’s producers to balance priorities and keep everyone informed. This is an operational role: you’ll manage the creative work rather than make it. It’s a great fit for a highly organized coordinator who enjoys bringing order to a busy creative team and keeping many moving pieces on track.

Work Environment / Culture

This is a fully remote, part-time role of approximately 20 hours per week. You’ll need to work during Pacific Time business hours, with no travel or in-office time required. You’ll collaborate with a distributed in-house video team producing content for a global audience of customers, partners, and employees. COLOR will provide the laptop and software needed for this role. This is a desk-based role.

Requirements:

What You’ll Do

  • Kick off new projects from creative brief intake, confirming objectives, scope, deliverables, audiences, budgets, and deadlines before work begins
  • Oversee and manage the creation of presentation decks, coordinating contributors, timelines, and reviews so decks are accurate, on brand, and on time
  • Build project timelines and assign work across editors, designers, and motion designers based on priorities, skills, and capacity
  • Manage execution day to day, tracking progress, removing roadblocks, and keeping projects on schedule
  • Run stakeholder review cycles, routing drafts for feedback, consolidating comments, and tracking approvals
  • Manage final deliveries, confirming every deliverable meets specs and reaches the right people and platforms
  • Maintain the team’s project tracker and request queue so status, owners, and due dates are always current
  • Partner closely with producers to balance competing priorities and flag risks to scope or schedule early
  • Send clear, timely status updates to stakeholders and the creative team
  • Organize project files, briefs, decks, and documentation, and suggest practical improvements to the team’s processes

What You Bring

  • Typically 3 to 5 years of experience in creative operations, project coordination, traffic management, or production coordination
  • Experience managing creative projects end to end, from brief through final delivery, for a video, design, or marketing team
  • Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail
  • Experience managing review and approval workflows with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience coordinating presentation deck development with multiple contributors and reviewers
  • Clear, proactive written and verbal communication, especially in a remote setting
  • Comfort juggling many requests and shifting priorities while staying calm and responsive
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and familiarity with project management and collaboration tools
  • Ability to work independently and reliably on a part-time schedule

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with work management platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Workfront, Smartsheet, Jira)
  • Familiarity with video review tools (e.g., Frame.io)
  • Experience supporting an in-house creative team at an enterprise or technology company
  • Basic understanding of video and design production workflows
  • Experience improving intake or request processes

Benefits Snapshot

While this role is part-time:

  • Paid sick leave, accrued from your first day in accordance with applicable state law
  • 401(k) plan with employer match, once tenure and minimum hours requirements are met

If the role grows to full-time, you’ll also become eligible for:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus access to an Employee Assistance Program
  • Paid time off, including vacation and company holidays
  • Additional perks such as phone plan reimbursement, wellness reimbursement, donation-matching
