You Don't Just Manage the Cellar — You Grow It
Full-Time
ABOUT ASAHI BEER USA / OCTOPI BREWING
Founded in 2014 as a Wisconsin contract brewery, Octopi Brewing has spent over a decade brewing and packaging beer, seltzers, RTDs, and sodas for clients nationwide. In 2024, Asahi — brewers of Asahi Super Dry — acquired Octopi, making us the U.S. production home of Super Dry. Today, our 250+ person team of beverage industry pros keeps that same local, quality-first spirit alive at a state-of-the-art facility. As Cellar Manager, you'll lead our cellar team day to day and help guide the Brewing Career Matrix that gives every brewer a real path to grow.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Our cellar team runs 24/7, five shifts strong, and we need an experienced leader to keep that team growing, our processes sharp, and every batch in spec. This is a hands-on leadership role sitting at the center of our brewing operation — reporting directly to the Brewing Manager/Brewmaster.
WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE GREAT
• Real ownership over your team's growth — you help manage and guide the Brewing Career Matrix that shapes how brewers develop and advance
• A high-visibility leadership role, working directly with the Brewhouse and Packaging teams to keep production on track
• Real authority to make the cellar better — from process improvement to team development, this role shapes how we operate
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Provide daily oversight, direction, and leadership for the cellar team across all shifts
• Coach and develop team members, conduct performance reviews, and guide their growth through the Brewing Career Matrix
• Build and maintain shift schedules, ensuring timely and efficient task completion
• Keep SOPs accurate, up to date, and followed — and drive continuous process improvement across the cellar
• Partner with Brewhouse and Packaging teams to keep tanks, yeast availability, and product flow on schedule
• Troubleshoot cellar equipment and liquid issues quickly, working directly with suppliers and OEMs as needed
WHAT YOU BRING
Must-haves:
• 3+ years of people management experience
• 5+ years of brewing, cellaring, or beverage production experience, including 2+ years at a production facility
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting 55 lbs / moving 165 lbs as needed
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-haves:
• Experience managing or contributing to a structured career or skills matrix for a production team
• Experience working directly with suppliers or OEMs on equipment troubleshooting
BENEFITS & PERKS

• Company-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance
• 401(k) eligible after 3 months, with company match — 100% up to 3%, 50% on the next 2%
• 120 hours of PTO annually, with accrual that grows the longer you're here
• 9 paid holidays (if they fall on your scheduled workday)
• A free beer after shift, because you earned it
PAY
• Pay: $80,000/annually
