Mid Level DevOps Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mid Level DevOps Engineer based in Brazil.

This role is an opportunity for a DevOps professional to help design, automate, and improve technology environments that support scalable digital solutions.
The position focuses on building reliable infrastructure, optimizing delivery pipelines, and enabling development teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently.
You will work across cloud infrastructure, automation, security, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Accountabilities:

The Mid Level DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable development and production environments. The role requires strong collaboration with engineering teams, a focus on automation, and the ability to improve infrastructure performance, security, and scalability.

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient integration and deployment processes.
  • Manage and evolve cloud infrastructure in AWS, ensuring availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Automate environment provisioning and configuration processes using Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Improve build, testing, and deployment workflows through automation and continuous optimization.
  • Monitor applications and infrastructure, ensuring stability and supporting fast incident resolution.
  • Collaborate with development and support teams to improve delivery processes and operational efficiency.
  • Implement security, governance, and access control best practices.
  • Support troubleshooting activities in production environments and help resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain and improve observability practices through monitoring, logging, and performance analysis.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate has experience in DevOps engineering, cloud environments, automation, and modern software delivery practices. The role requires technical versatility, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with infrastructure, security, and development tools.

  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation processes.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible (including Playbooks and Vault), and Makefiles.
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, Gitea Actions, Bitrise, or TFS.
  • Experience with container technologies including Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, EKS, and Minikube.
  • Knowledge of container registries such as ECR, Harbor Registry, or Nexus.
  • Experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, Lightsail, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudWatch.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Loki, Promtail, and SonarQube/SonarCloud.
  • Familiarity with backend technologies including C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience working with databases such as SQL Server, Aurora AWS, DynamoDB, and SQL queries/procedures.
  • Knowledge of API integrations using REST, SOAP, and related tools.
  • Experience with Linux, Nginx, SSL/TLS, Let's Encrypt, and infrastructure security concepts.
  • Familiarity with Git/Git Flow, Bitbucket, Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, and ITIL/change management practices.
  • Strong collaboration skills, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
