- Collect and process co-payments and other payments accurately
- Maintain and update patient records in the electronic health record system
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide information regarding services and billing
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care coordination
- Adhere to confidentiality and privacy regulations, including HIPAA compliance
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare or administrative training preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or patient registration role is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Knowledge of insurance processes and billing procedures is advantageous
