Warehouse Associate in Oberlin, Ohio at Erie Industrial Products LLC

Location: Oberlin, OH
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

We're looking for a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our growing manufacturing team in Oberlin, Ohio. In this role, you'll support daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations by ensuring materials and products are accurately received, stored, and shipped. What You'll Do
Receive incoming materials into the ERP system and complete all required material transactions.
Unload trucks, verify incoming shipments, and inspect materials for damage or discrepancies.
Perform cycle counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory records.
Inspect products before shipment to ensure quality standards are met.
Pack, label, weigh, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to company and customer requirements.
Prepare shipments for courier pickup and ensure all shipping documentation is complete and accurate.
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment to transport materials throughout the facility.
Assist with inventory control activities, including receiving, scrapping, stock checks, and discrepancy reporting.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Follow all OSHA, environmental, and company safety procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
One to three years of warehouse or shipping experience preferred.
Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP or shipping software.
Basic math skills for inventory and shipping calculations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday.
Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and balance.
Lift and move up to 55 pounds without assistance.
Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
