The Financial Center Manager serves as the senior leader responsible for driving the growth, visibility, and strategic success of their assigned Financial Center at First Bank Midwest. This role emphasizes deposit growth through proactive business development, cultivating lasting customer and community relationships, and enhancing the Bank’s local presence. The Managers functions as the financial center's chief ambassador—focused on creating meaningful connections with local businesses, civic partners, and key stakeholders while ensuring operational excellence is upheld by collaborating with the Assistant Financial Center Manager.

Key to this role is a strong commitment to relationship-based banking, leadership in market development, and representing First Bank Midwest in community events and civic initiatives. While operational integrity is a shared responsibility, the Managers primarily sets the vision, monitors compliance outcomes, and ensures the Financial Center reflects the Bank’s high standards of performance, service, and professionalism.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive Deposit Growth through Business Development and Relationship Management

a. Identify, pursue, and deepen relationships with local businesses, nonprofits, and civic leaders to increase deposits and expand the bank’s customer base.

b. Serve as a consultative partner by understanding client needs and offering tailored banking solutions.

c. Maintain and grow a book of business by nurturing long-term, trust-based relationships with individuals and commercial clients.

d. Represent The Farmers Bank at networking functions, business events, and community activities to enhance visibility and credibility.

2. Provide Strategic Oversight of Financial Center Operations

a. Set performance expectations and support operational excellence through collaboration with the Assistant Director and staff.

b. Ensure the financial center is audit-ready, compliant with bank policies and regulatory standards, and consistently meets quality control benchmarks.

c. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial center metrics to identify trends and implement improvement strategies.

d. Partner with internal teams to ensure facility presentation, security, and service delivery align with brand standards.

3. Lead Local Community Engagement and Market Visibility

a. Serve as the face of First Bank Midwest in the community by actively participating in local boards, service organizations, and community events.

b. Coordinate and lead local sponsorships, outreach programs, and visibility campaigns to strengthen the bank’s reputation and community footprint.

c. Encourage staff participation in civic and volunteer activities and model a commitment to service and community development.

4. Support Account Growth and Acquisition Activities

a. Assist customers with opening personal and business accounts as needed, ensuring the process is smooth, compliant, and aligned with the customer's financial goals.

b. Maintain a working knowledge of bank products and services to educate customers and recommend solutions that match their needs.

c. Partner with the Assistant Manager to ensure the account opening process meets internal service and accuracy standards.
