Location: Beverly, Chicago, IL
Department: Restaurant Operations
Compensation: $70,000–$85,000 base salary + 20% target annual performance bonus
Total target compensation: approximately $84,000–$102,000 annually.

What You'll Do
As our General Manager, you'll lead every aspect of our Beverly restaurant—from developing your team and delivering exceptional guest experiences to achieving financial goals and operational excellence.
You'll coach, mentor, and inspire your team while creating a workplace where teammates feel respected, supported, and motivated to do their best work every day.

You'll Spend Your Time
Leading Your Team
- Build and develop a high-performing leadership team and restaurant staff
- Foster a culture of respect, accountability, and teamwork
- Coach, mentor, and develop teammates for future growth opportunities
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback
- Interview, hire, and onboard new teammates
- Lead weekly manager meetings and establish clear goals and expectations
Creating Exceptional Guest Experiences
- Create a welcoming environment where every guest feels valued
- Deliver outstanding hospitality and service every day
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care
- Represent Home Run Inn in the local community and support community events
Running a Successful Restaurant
- Oversee daily restaurant operations while maintaining Home Run Inn standards
- Drive sales, profitability, labor, food cost, and operational performance
- Use scheduling and forecasting tools to maximize efficiency
- Ensure accurate cash handling and administrative processes
- Monitor inventory, food quality, and food safety standards
- Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and operating at its best

- Lead training and development for all teammates
- Ensure required training and certifications are completed on time
- Communicate consistently through pre-shift meetings and team messaging
- Promote continuous improvement and problem-solving throughout the restaurant

What You'll Bring
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- 3+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
- Experience managing restaurant financials, labor, and inventory
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of achieving operational and financial goals
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work 45–50 hours per week in an exempt leadership role
- Ability to travel to Home Run Inn restaurant locations within a 35-mile driving radius when needed
- Ability to obtain and maintain required state and local certifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
