Clean Linen Technician in Odessa, Texas at Medical Center Hospital

Position Summary:

Laundry Support Technician processes, sanitizes, and distributes facility linens. Ensure strict adherence to infection control policies, maintaining a vital supply chain for patient safety and comfort. Transports clean and soiled linens from all areas in the hospital to the laundry department. Manually loading/unloading heavy wheeled carts and maintain compliance and sanitation standards. Restocks carts. Issue pillows as needed and document usage to track inventory.

Education and Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Training and Experience:

1. Must have current and valid Class C driver’s license.
2. Must be 21 years of age or older.
3. Previous laundry, dry cleaning or hospital Environmental Service experience a plus.
4. Able to read, write and count.
5. Must be able to follow instructions.
6. Ability to communicate well,

Job Knowledge:

Knowledge of all types of linens and general truck maintenance.
