Bookkeeping Associate in DeMotte, Indiana at Belstra Milling Co

Belstra Milling Company is searching for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual in our

accounting department. This opportunity is for a reliable, highly motivated individual to record

all financial transactions and to reconcile accounts to ensure their accuracy. The ideal candidate

Job Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

• Generate customer invoices and statements
• Address any billing and payment questions or discrepancies
• Prepare appropriate schedules and reports
• Enter and review accurate accounts receivable details
• Assist other team members in their responsibilities to ensure all duties are performed in a timely manner
• Must be able to keep client matters strictly confidential

Skills and Requirements (included but not limited to):

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must speak fluent English or bilingual
• Problem-solving skills
• Excellent computer and typing skills
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
• Ability to operate calculator, computer, and other general office equipment

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years responsible accounting or bookkeeping experience including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Knowledge of computerized accounting software, including QuickBooks
