Office Manager

Growing Equipment Dealership in the Denver Metro Area

A growing privately owned equipment dealership serving agricultural, construction, landscaping, and rural lifestyle customers throughout the Denver metro area is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee accounting and administrative functions.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, supporting dealership operations, and helping build the foundation for future growth. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys improving processes, and is committed to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, inventory accounting, and general ledger activities.

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end financial reporting.

• Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain financial records in accordance with company policies.

• Monitor cash flow, floorplan activity, and inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and financial stability.

• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and analyses for review by the dealership leadership and CFO.

Leadership & Team Development

• Establish clear expectations and accountability while fostering a positive team culture.

• Collaborate with department managers to improve communication and operational efficiency.

• Support recruiting, onboarding, and development of office staff as needed.

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Assist with implementation and optimization of dealership management systems and reporting tools.

Operational Support

• Partner with dealership leadership and the CFO to monitor key performance indicators and financial results.

• Support inventory management processes for whole goods, parts, and equipment transactions.

• Assist with special projects, facility expansion initiatives, and other growth-related projects.

• Accurate and timely monthly financial reporting

• Strong internal controls and accounting processes

• Effective management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory administration, and cash controls

• A well-trained and engaged administrative team

• Meaningful financial support for dealership leadership and operational decision making

• Scalable processes that support the dealership's continued growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

• Five or more years of accounting, office management, or dealership administration experience.

• Previous experience in agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, automotive, powersports, RV, or related dealership operations required.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Experience with dealership management systems, preferably DIS or RIMSS, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
