Accountabilities:

As a Taxonomy Analyst, you will support daily taxonomy operations by classifying, validating, and improving employment-related data. You will contribute to the quality and scalability of data systems by applying strong analytical skills, localization knowledge, and attention to detail. Key responsibilities include:

  • Labeling, annotating, and classifying complex job and resume data according to established taxonomy guidelines.
  • Standardizing job titles and accurately mapping occupations across global employment datasets.
  • Reviewing and validating metadata to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality taxonomy outputs.
  • Performing data cleanup and localization workflows tailored to different international markets.
  • Evaluating high-volume datasets by identifying patterns, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Applying quality control processes to maintain reliable and scalable data classification standards.
  • Collaborating with global teams to support continuous improvements in taxonomy processes and workflows.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with data classification, taxonomy, metadata management, or content organization, combined with strong analytical abilities and language proficiency. Success in this role requires attention to detail, structured thinking, and the ability to work effectively with large datasets. Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Native-level fluency in English or Spanish, depending on the assigned operational track.
  • Previous experience in data taxonomy, metadata management, content classification, or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with data labeling, annotation, validation, and reviewing high-volume datasets.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail, pattern recognition abilities, and sound judgment when following established frameworks.
  • Experience with localization workflows or multilingual content systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with international teams.
  • Familiarity with HR systems, talent acquisition processes, or job taxonomy structures is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, advanced Excel, Google Sheets, or similar data manipulation tools is advantageous.
  • Experience using AI and Large Language Model (LLM) tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude for data classification or augmentation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of global employment markets, particularly English-speaking regions, is preferred.
  • Availability to align with Central Time (CT) working hours and participate in collaboration sessions during standard business hours.
