This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced data and analytics professional who is passionate about transforming enterprise data into strategic business value. In this role, you will define and execute a long-term data strategy while leading high-performing technical teams responsible for data engineering, reporting, business intelligence, and analytics solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen data governance, improve decision-making, and deliver scalable data products that support organizational growth. Working in a remote-first environment, you will combine strategic vision with operational excellence, driving innovation while mentoring teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead the enterprise data and analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives and organizational priorities.
- Oversee data engineering, reporting, dashboards, semantic models, curated datasets, and analytics platforms that support informed decision-making.
- Partner with business leaders, IT teams, compliance, and operational stakeholders to identify high-value initiatives and deliver impactful data solutions.
- Establish and promote strong data governance practices, including data quality, stewardship, metadata management, KPI standardization, and lifecycle management.
- Direct agile delivery processes, manage project priorities, maintain transparent backlogs, and ensure timely execution across multiple initiatives.
- Guide the design and implementation of scalable cloud-based data architectures, pipelines, and enterprise integration processes.
- Build, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams of data engineers, analysts, and visualization specialists while supporting recruitment and professional growth.
- Identify delivery risks, recommend process improvements, and drive continuous enhancements to data standards, reporting capabilities, and analytics best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- 8–10 years of progressive leadership experience in data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, or enterprise technology environments.
- Demonstrated success leading and coaching technical teams while managing complex enterprise data initiatives.
- Strong experience with cloud data platforms, modern data warehouses or lakehouses, data marts, semantic models, and scalable data pipelines.
- Hands-on knowledge of enterprise reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent BI platforms.
- Solid understanding of data governance, metadata management, data stewardship, data quality frameworks, and enterprise reporting standards.
- Familiarity with healthcare data environments, including HIPAA, PHI, healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR), and API-based integrations, is highly valued.
- Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, prioritization, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence both technical and executive audiences.
