DAS Technician - Level I in Peachtree Corners, Georgia at NetPlanner Systems, Inc.

This position also pays a $250.00 monthly mileage assistance payment and $15.00 monthly cell/data reimbursement.

Job purpose

The DAS Technician is a hands-on role that will work closely with the Construction Manager and other Installation technicians. The duties will include, but aren't limited to: Installing DAS and other wireless equipment such as Outdoor and Indoor antennas, coaxial cable, fiber optic cable, CAT 5 cable, DC Power Cable and other appropriate components to NEC standards. This position can contain up to 80% travel.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

1. Installing DAS/Small Cell wireless equipment using any combination of external and internal antennas, coaxial cable, fiber optic cable, CAT 5 cable and other appropriate components to NEC standard at customer job sites.
2. • Mounting rack, wall and ceiling electronic DAS components.
3. • Fusion splice fiber and test.
4. • Connectorize 50 ohm RF cable and test.
5. • Background and skillset for wiring DC power plants and low voltage circuits.
6. • General hours of Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. But ability to provide support during and outside regular business hours is required.

Qualifications

1. Prefer 1+ years of strongly related experience with DAS/Small Cell installations.
2. Valid Driver’s License.
3. Finger & wrist dexterity & hand/eye coordination.
4. Ability to work from heights such as man lifts, scissor lifts & roof tops utilizing proper fall protection.
5. Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, Visio, and Power Point.
6. Must be willing and able to travel 80%-100%

Working Environment

1. Regularly exposed to work in non-climate controlled environments.
2. May be exposed to airborne particles and dirt in outdoor or construction environments.
3. Noise levels can be high depending upon work site and tools required.

8. Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl in all environments (basements, crawl spaces, attic/ceilings, etc.).
