This position also pays a $250.00 monthly mileage assistance payment and $15.00 monthly cell/data reimbursement.
Job purpose
The DAS Technician is a hands-on role that will work closely with the Construction Manager and other Installation technicians. The duties will include, but aren't limited to: Installing DAS and other wireless equipment such as Outdoor and Indoor antennas, coaxial cable, fiber optic cable, CAT 5 cable, DC Power Cable and other appropriate components to NEC standards. This position can contain up to 80% travel.
Essential Duties and responsibilities
- Installing DAS/Small Cell wireless equipment using any combination of external and internal antennas, coaxial cable, fiber optic cable, CAT 5 cable and other appropriate components to NEC standard at customer job sites.
- • Mounting rack, wall and ceiling electronic DAS components.
- • Fusion splice fiber and test.
- • Connectorize 50 ohm RF cable and test.
- • Background and skillset for wiring DC power plants and low voltage circuits.
- • General hours of Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. But ability to provide support during and outside regular business hours is required.

Qualifications
- Prefer 1+ years of strongly related experience with DAS/Small Cell installations.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Finger & wrist dexterity & hand/eye coordination.
- Ability to work from heights such as man lifts, scissor lifts & roof tops utilizing proper fall protection.
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, Visio, and Power Point.
- Must be willing and able to travel 80%-100%

Working Environment
- Regularly exposed to work in non-climate controlled environments.
- May be exposed to airborne particles and dirt in outdoor or construction environments.
- Noise levels can be high depending upon work site and tools required.

- Must be able to stand, walk, reach and with hands and arms, for up to eight hours daily.

- Must be able to handle a variety of items, equipment, control knobs, switches, etc.
- Must be able to use one hand for twisting or turning motions while coordinating other hand with different activities
- Must have average levels of eye/hand/foot coordination.
- Must be able to climb up and down ladders (8 feet routinely)
- Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl in all environments (basements, crawl spaces, attic/ceilings, etc.).
