About the role
The People & Culture Advisor is a multifaceted role responsible for leading recruitment activities across the business while providing broad HR administrative and employee lifecycle support. This position serves as a trusted partner to hiring managers and employees, ensuring an exceptional candidate and employee experience from attraction through onboarding and beyond.
This position is ideal for a recruiter who enjoys building relationships and sourcing talent, but who also wants exposure to wider HR responsibilities.
What you'll do
- Manage the full recruitment cycle for all Electrosonic positions across the company including sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define hiring requirements, job descriptions, and recruitment strategies.
- Screen and assess candidates against role requirements, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Manage the offer process by extending offers and negotiation terms.
- Monitor recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate quality and hiring manager satisfaction.
- Administer employee onboarding and offboarding process, including new hire orientations, background checks, talent check-ins and exit interviews.
- Maintain employee records and HRIS data ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Generate HR reports and workforce data as required.
- Support employee changes including promotions, transfers and compensation updates.
- In partnership with the Chief People Officer, support the START & Internship Programs, including recruitment, onboarding, development planning and check ins.
- Support People and Culture programs such as Employee Engagement, Service Awards, and Electrosonic Gives Back.
- Assist managers with employee relations matters and documentation.
- Support performance management and talent review processes.
- To ensure mandatory compliance with information security policies, standards and procedures as well as supporting HR compliance activities in accordance with federal, state and local employment regulations.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years' experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, HR coordination or related HR role.
- Knowledge of US employment practices and recruitment compliance requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- HRIS experience; familiarity with systems such as Rippling, ADP etc.
- Proven ability to collaborate and contribute effectively within a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- SHRM-CP, PHR or equivalent certification (or working towards)
Salary based on experience: $55k-$65k yearly; Hybrid/Remote
