Job DescriptionThe Opportunity:

Reporting to the Director of Residential Life and Student Support, the Threshold Graduate Resident Assistant (GRA) is responsible for helping Threshold students with a myriad of issues from homesickness, to losing their keys and ID, to having a personal conflict with a dormmate. The GRA’s responsibilities also involve organizing social and recreational activities for each on-call shift. Compensation consists of room and board, a monthly stipend of $800 and tuition remission for 3 courses per year (1 fall semester, 2 spring semester). Merit scholarships cannot be combined with the tuition remission granted from this position.

Qualities and Capabilities:
  • Must be a graduate student at Lesley University. Open to doctoral students, but please note that doctoral programs are not eligible for tuition remission

  • Live-in position in the Threshold dorms.

  • Counseling experience preferred.

  • Experience working with a neurodivergent population preferred.

  • Experience working in residential life or group settings preferred

  • Experience with leadership in workshop and activity creation.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Position Timeframe: Full Academic Year (August 2026- May 2027)

Weekly Hours: 17-20

Rate of Pay: Monthly stipend $800
