Description:

The Victory News Division Producer & Guest Coordinator serves as a key member of the Victory News leadership

and production team, supporting all programming within the Victory News Division umbrella. This position is

primarily responsible for identifying, securing, scheduling, and managing guests for multiple television and digital

programs, while also serving as an experienced production professional capable of assisting with live and

prerecorded broadcasts.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned network television producer with extensive control room experience, strong

editorial judgment, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with

high-profile guests, public figures, ministry leaders, subject matter experts, and newsmakers. This individual will

play a critical role in helping shape program content, ensuring high-quality guest bookings, and supporting the

execution of broadcasts from concept through completion.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute guest booking strategies for all Victory News Division programming.
  • Research, identify, recruit, and secure guests relevant to current events, faith-based topics, cultural issues, ministry initiatives, and special programming.
  • Maintain and continually expand a network of guest contacts, publicists, ministries, organizations, government officials, authors, journalists, and subject matter experts.
  • Coordinate guest logistics, scheduling, travel arrangements, technical requirements, and pre-interview preparation.
  • Prepare briefing materials and background research for hosts, producers, and talent.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests before, during, and after appearances.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships that support recurring appearances and future programming opportunities.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, producers, writers, and hosts to align guest selections with editorial goals and ministry objectives.
  • Monitor current events, industry trends, and developing stories to proactively identify potential guests and interview opportunities.

Production & Broadcast Support

  • Assist in the planning, development, and execution of live and prerecorded programming across the Victory News Division.
  • Support producers, directors, and control room personnel during productions and special events.
  • Participate in show development, rundown planning, segment preparation, and production meetings.
  • Help coordinate communication between editorial, production, technical, and creative teams.
  • Ensure assigned productions maintain high editorial, technical, and production standards.
  • Assist with breaking news coverage, election coverage, special broadcasts, remote productions, and live event programming.
  • Support talent and production teams to ensure smooth execution of broadcasts.
  • Contribute creative ideas for program segments, special features, and audience engagement opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, Television Production, Media Studies, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional television production experience in a network, national, regional, or major-market broadcast environment.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of live control room experience.
  • Demonstrated experience booking guests for television, digital media, radio, podcast, or live-event productions.
  • Experience producing live news, talk, interview, or current-events programming preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple productions, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working with executive-level talent, public figures, ministry leaders, elected officials, and media personalities preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

  • Strong understanding of television production workflows and control room operations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong editorial judgment and news awareness.
  • Ability to identify compelling stories, guests, and interview opportunities.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline pressure.
  • Working knowledge of newsroom systems, production software, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced live production environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Professional demeanor and representation of Kenneth Copeland Ministries and the Victory News Division.
  • Must demonstrate spiritual maturity, integrity, discernment, and a commitment to the mission and values of Kenneth Copeland Ministries.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • May coordinate and lead assigned production personnel, freelancers, interns, and support staff during productions and special projects.
  • Assist in training and mentoring production team members as needed.
  • Support departmental initiatives and production workflows to ensure operational excellence.

EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:

Computers, recorders, card readers, monitors, various production software, and other office equipment as needed.

  • Manual dexterity to operate equipment
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
  • Must be able to work in studio setting and remote production locations
  • Must be able to travel, as needed

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Works in a normal office or studio environment, sometimes a remote production location.

OTHER:

  • Born again believer and must adhere to this organization's doctrines as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives.
  • Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension, difficulties and divisions.
  • Must maintain a good attendance record.
  • Because of the wide range of personal contact with ministry leaders within and outside the organization, this position requires considerable diplomacy, maturity, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work with people of all cultures.
