  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and communicate regional sales action plans and progress to leadership.
  • Apply value-selling techniques and continuous-improvement principles to strengthen sales effectiveness.
  • Participate in regular management and performance-review meetings, including daily management routines.
  • Travel extensively across the assigned territory, approximately 50% of the month, to meet customers, partners, and prospects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences or a closely related scientific discipline.
  • 3–5 years of professional sales experience within the life sciences industry, ideally involving laboratory instrumentation or related technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience selling to life sciences, pharmaceutical, CRO, biopharma, government, or academic customers.
  • Strong understanding of consultative and value-based selling, with the ability to translate scientific and technical capabilities into customer value.
  • Experience managing distributors, channel partners, or other indirect sales networks is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and scientific products.
  • Exposure to government tender processes, particularly GeM tenders, is an advantage.
  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM platform for opportunity management, forecasting, and sales reporting.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and scientific approach to customer engagement and solution selling.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and regional teams.
  • Proactive, agile, target-oriented mindset with the willingness and flexibility to travel extensively throughout the territory.
Benefits:
  • Competitive benefits package designed to support employees both professionally and personally.
  • Healthcare and wellness-related benefits.
  • Paid time off and other leave programs.
  • Remote working arrangement with the role based in Bangalore.
  • Opportunity to work across a broad regional market covering Karnataka and Kerala.
  • Exposure to customers and organizations across life sciences, pharma, biotechnology, CRO, government, and academia.
  • Opportunities to develop expertise in scientific sales, channel management, value selling, and regional business development.
