Spartanburg Methodist College invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions in Professional Development. The successful candidate will teach one or more in-person class sections on a semester-by-semester basis, pending enrollment, instructor availability, and student success.
Spartanburg Methodist College is committed to ensuring graduates achieve the career and economic outcomes that lead them to pursue a bachelor’s degree. To ensure their goals become a reality, all SMC Bachelor’s Degree students complete six Professional Development courses called the Camak Core. These project-based courses focus on developing the top skills employers seek from college graduates. These skills include communication, project management, problem-solving, teamwork, analytical skills, and initiative. By teaching professional and academic skills, SMC aims to prepare students for success in their first job and every job after graduation.
