Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Associate, Client Support Services based in the United States.
This role supports daily trading operations and client connectivity across a range of capital markets environments. You will help maintain reliable trade flows, trading interfaces, FIX connections, and regulatory reporting processes. The position offers hands-on exposure to equities, fixed income, and options throughout the trade lifecycle. You will troubleshoot issues across application, network, and system layers while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders. The role also contributes to client onboarding, connectivity testing, incident resolution, and infrastructure support. It is well suited to a technically capable professional who enjoys solving real-time trading and connectivity challenges in a collaborative environment.
- Support assigned daily activities across the trade lifecycle for equities, fixed income, and options.
- Monitor FIX connectivity through session checks, log reviews, and message-flow troubleshooting.
- Assist with client onboarding, certification, and testing for FIX connections, escalating more complex configurations when needed.
- Investigate order and execution-flow issues across internal and external systems to help maintain stable real-time trading interfaces.
- Support CAT and FINRA reporting activities through assigned reviews, reconciliations, and issue follow-up.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues involving circuits, latency, and routing that may affect trading flows.
- Collaborate with network teams on circuit migrations, failovers, and incident resolution.
- Act as a day-to-day contact for assigned client issues involving trade processing, FIX connectivity, and reporting, providing clear updates to technical and business stakeholders.
- Document incidents, contribute to issue resolution and root-cause follow-up, and escalate complex matters appropriately.
- Typically 3–5 years of relevant experience in trade support, trading operations, or a related capital markets environment.
- Practical understanding of the trade lifecycle across equities, fixed income, and options.
- Experience working in broker-dealer, financial services, or capital markets environments.
- Hands-on experience with FIX protocol, including session connectivity, message flows, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and fundamental networking concepts.
- Experience with incident management, issue documentation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and business audiences.
- Ability to manage assigned responsibilities independently while recognizing when issues require escalation.
- Exposure to Mainframe technologies, including online environments used for job monitoring, data lookup, and issue triage, is preferred.
- Familiarity with TSO/ISPF commands is a plus.
- Full-time professional opportunity within the U.S. market.
- Remote-work flexibility, as indicated by the role's remote designation.
- Opportunity to work across trading operations, client connectivity, FIX infrastructure, regulatory reporting, networking, and Linux environments.
- Hands-on exposure to multi-asset capital markets and real-time trading technology.
- Collaborative environment with opportunities to work alongside client-facing, technical, network, and operations teams.
- The original posting does not specify salary, healthcare coverage, paid time off, bonus structure, or other compensation details; these should be confirmed directly during the hiring process.
