Job Description
1. Treasury Operations
• Manage day-to-day banking activities: fund transfers, bank reconciliations, online banking workflows
• Execute and monitor working capital facilities including CC, OD, guarantees, letter of credit, bill discounting
• Prepare, track and report treasury MIS including daily cash positioning, liquidity forecasts, utilization of facilities
• Ensure compliance with FEMA, ECB, and banking regulations for both A1 & A2 category payments
• Coordinate with banks on foreign remittances, regulatory documentation and swift resolutions of operational issues
• Maintain timely submissions of periodical banking reports
• Support negotiations for borrowing, renewal of banking limits and interest cost optimisation plans
• Ensure strong banking relationship management and act as primary point of contact for bankers
• Monitor and manage foreign currency exposures and hedging documentation (if applicable)
2. Accounts Payable
• End-to-end invoice processing: validation, approvals, GRN matching, accounting and timely payments
• Maintain vendor master, credit terms, and support AP ageing management
• Ensure compliance with TDS, GST and other statutory rules applicable to vendor payments
• Support month-end closing for AP related provisions, reconciliations and accruals
• Champion process improvements to reduce payment errors, delays and manual interventions
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies including audit requirements
3. Corporate Compliances
• TDS Compliances - Payment of TDS, filing of returns, performing the reconciliations.
• GST Compliances - Review of GST accounting and reconciliations, Ensure timely filing of returns, Input Tax Credit reconciliation
• Audit coordination, IFC testing
4. Documentation and Governance
• Maintain accurate compliance records for banking and AP processes
• Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors and compliance teams for treasury and AP-related audits
• Strengthen control environment with preventive and detective controls
• Strong practical understanding of banking products, foreign remittances (Forms A1 & A2), FEMA & ECB frameworks
• Well-versed in AP practices, ERP systems, vendor management and reconciliation
• Analytical and proactive cash-flow tracking mindset
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal ability with both banks and vendors
• Detail-oriented, process-driven, high ownership attitude
• Competency in MS Excel, online banking tools and major ERPs (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)
Qualification
• Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or equivalent
• Additional treasury, banking or financial certifications would be an added advantage
